Outstanding food and highly courteous staff. The location was good, right in the centre of Newbury and overlooking the rear. Moreover, it was just next door to the lovely Victoria Park, the establishments, and bars, restaurants, and sites of interest.

This hotel was set in a very central area really close to bars in town, and within walking distance to Newbury Racecourse. The breakfast we ordered was tasty with many alternative dishes, cheep ingredients, thin sliced bacon.

The location of the hotel to the city centre is very good.
The accommodation has been redesigned in the entrance area and a cosy old hotel has now become a very impersonal and meaningless, without atmosphere.

Very nice reception, spacious room. Good, wide bed. Bathroom with a bathtub and a shower.
